The Lagos State Universal Basic Education Board (LASUBEB) has announced the commencement of its teacher recruitment exercise, with the application portal now officially open.
In a statement signed on Monday by its Executive Chairman, the board explained that the recruitment, approved by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, is aimed at attracting qualified candidates committed to advancing quality education across the state.
The statement read in part:
“This is a unique opportunity for NCE holders, B.A (Ed), B.Sc (Ed), B.Ed, HND+PGDE, BA+PGDE, and B.Sc+PGDE graduates to build a career in teaching and contribute meaningfully to qualitative service delivery in Lagos State.”
LASUBEB stated that all applications must be submitted strictly online via https://subebjobs.lagosstate.gov.ng, warning that physical submissions will not be accepted. The board also emphasized that the recruitment exercise is entirely free and that no individual or group has been authorised to collect money on its behalf.
Applicants are required to upload relevant documents, including:
(1).O’ Level Certificate (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB)
(2).Degree or NCE Certificate
(3).NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate (where applicable)
It further noted that statements or notifications of results issued beyond two years will not be accepted.
The application portal will remain open until October 14, 2025.
