Start Work on Akure/Idanre Road in three days or see me intervene – Popular Akure Clergy Samson Oluwamodede to Ayedatiwa

A popular clergy and General Overseer of Prayer Center Church of God, Adofure, Idanre road, has challenged the Governor of Ondo State, Lucky Ayedatiwa to the condition of the Akure/Idanre road, insisting that the road is completed in due time or he intervenes.

Lamenting the terrible condition of the road, Oluwamodede clarified that he had called the governor severally regarding the condition of the abandoned road which according to him has now become a death trap for citizens plying the road.

In his words:

Mr Governor, I called your attention to this road before, and you promised to act. But now, the situation has worsened.”

“Heavy trucks fall, people die daily. If nothing is done before Sunday, I will hire a grader and do surface dressing myself, so you won’t be embarrassed.”

While claiming to have voted the governor, he restated his belief in his administration, reflecting on his dealings with at least three governors before Lucky Ayedatiwa.

He however threatened to grade the road with solid grader in three days should the governor default by not starting work on the road.
