In a significant push to enhance educational opportunities and healthcare training in the Idanre/Ifedore Federal Constituency, Hon. Festus Olanrewaju Akingbaso has sponsored a landmark bill for the establishment of the Federal College of Health and Dental Technology in Ifedore, Ondo State.
The initiative, aimed at elevating legislative standards and fostering local development, has advanced through its second reading in the House of Representatives.
A statement from Kelvin Babalola, media aide to the lawmaker, confirmed the progress, noting that “the bill has passed its second reading in the Green Chamber of the National Assembly.”
He further established that “Hon. Festus O. Akingbaso, MHR, Idanre/Ifedore Federal Constituency, and Deputy Chairman, House Committee on Aviation, sponsored the bill, which aims to bring quality healthcare education to our community.”

“The bill, listed as HB 2429, is now scheduled for scrutiny and input from stakeholders, including the host community. Upon approval by the designated House Committee, it will proceed to its final reading.”
“We are confident that this bill will become a reality, given its immense significance to the development of our Federal Constituency,” said Hon. Akingbaso.
