Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State has been summoned by the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abuja in light of a crisis that recently engulfed the party, leading to the tragic loss of three lives. This unrest also left numerous party leaders critically injured and caused substantial damage to vehicles and property.
In response to the invitation from party leadership, Governor Aiyedatiwa arrived in Abuja yesterday (Thursday). At the time of writing this report, he remains in the Federal capital to answer questions and brief the party leadership about the situation in Ondo State.
The APC congress crisis has raised significant concerns within the party and among constituents, prompting the urgent need for a comprehensive investigation and resolution. The governor’s engagement with party leaders is expected to address the recent events and help restore order within the party ranks.
