Popular Nigerian TikTok creator Habeeb Hamzat, widely known as Peller, has called on the Nigeria Police Force and the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) to arrest fellow content creator Adesokan Adedeji Emmanuel, popularly known as Shank Comics, following a recent car crash during a livestream.
The incident reportedly occurred earlier in 2026 when Shank Comics was broadcasting live while driving a Mercedes at high speed on a highway in Lagos. During the livestream, he lost control of the vehicle and crashed.
Although no serious injuries were reported, the crash marked the second accident involving the content creator within about six months. A previous crash in November 2025 had also destroyed another vehicle.
As of Saturday, there had been no official statement, arrest, or vehicle impoundment by authorities regarding the incident.
Peller made the call during a livestream that went viral on social media. Speaking from the front seat of a moving vehicle, he argued that authorities were applying double standards in how they treat online celebrities involved in reckless driving.
According to him, similar circumstances led to his arrest by the Lagos State Police Command in December 2025 after he crashed his Mercedes-Benz while livestreaming on the Lekki–Epe Expressway.
At the time, authorities described his actions as reckless and dangerous to other road users. He was detained for about a week on allegations related to reckless driving and using a phone while operating a vehicle, while the FRSC announced plans to prosecute him.
Peller insisted that Shank Comics should face the same consequences, saying it would be unfair if authorities failed to act.
The situation has sparked debate on social media, with some users supporting Peller’s demand and calling for enforcement action, while others dismissed his comments as an attempt to attract attention.
As of press time, neither the Nigeria Police Force nor the Federal Road Safety Corps had issued an official response regarding the crash involving Shank Comics.
