A Federal High Court in Abuja has dismissed the no-case submission filed by activist and Sahara Reporters publisher, Omoyele Sowore, in the cybercrime case instituted against him by the DSS.
Justice Mohammed Garba Umar ruled that the DSS had established a prima facie case requiring Sowore to enter a defence.
Following the ruling, Sowore accused the judge of bias, alleging collaboration with the federal government to stop his 2027 political ambition. He also requested that the judge recuse himself from the case.
The court directed Sowore to formally file his application for recusal and adjourned proceedings till May 19 for the defence to open its case.
