Nigerian influencer and entrepreneur, Priscilla Ojo, has revealed that many people in Tanzania once believed her husband, Juma Jux, was impotent because he remained childless at the age of 35 despite his fame and successful music career.
Priscilla disclosed this during an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo while speaking about their relationship and the challenges they faced before welcoming their first child in August 2025.
According to her, the speculation stemmed from the fact that many of Jux’s friends and colleagues already had children, while he did not despite being involved in previous relationships.
“In his country Tanzania, people thought he was impotent because he did not have a child or babymama like many of his friends and colleagues. They were like, ‘Why is he not having kids like his friends?’ Because obviously, he has been in past relationships,” she said.
Priscilla, however, explained that her husband remained disciplined and intentional about family life, insisting that he chose to wait for the right time.
“There were questions but he knew when it was time. He is very disciplined. He knew what he wanted. You can roll with certain people and not be like them,” she added.
She also revealed that the rumours did not completely stop after the birth of their child, as some people allegedly speculated that the baby was born through surrogacy or implantation.
Priscilla and Juma Jux held their civil wedding in Tanzania in February 2025 before celebrating their traditional and white weddings in Lagos in April of the same year.
The couple later welcomed their first child, Prince Rakeem Ayomide Mkambala, in Canada in August 2025.
