Celebrity businessman and nightlife promoter, Cubana Chief Priest, has finally reacted after losing the All Progressives Congress House of Representatives primary election for the Orsu/Orlu/Oru East Federal Constituency in Imo State.
The socialite, whose real name is Pascal Okechukwu, reportedly secured just 14 votes in the APC primary, ending his bid to clinch the party’s ticket ahead of the 2027 elections.
Reacting in a viral video circulating online, Cubana Chief Priest said he does not regret contesting for the position but expressed disappointment in some elders within his community.
“I’m a hustler, and I didn’t regret trying to contest for a position. My only regret was trusting the elders in the community. I know how much I gave them, but only 14 people voted for me in the primary,” he said.
Following the outcome of the primary election, many social media users mocked the businessman over his defeat, especially considering his public support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his role as coordinator of the City Boys Movement in Imo State.
