In a surprising turn of events, Barr. Lade Ebiwanno, a prominent critic of Ondo State Governor Dr. Lucky Orimisan Ayedatiwa, has expressed a newfound admiration for the leader following a significant meeting in Akure. In stark contrast to his previous criticisms, Ebiwanno declared that he has “seen the light” and will “never go astray” again.
Describing the governor as “gentle as a dove” and “wise as a serpent,” Ebiwanno shared his reflections during a recent press briefing. He remarked:
“The Bible enjoins us as Christians to be gentle as dove and wise as serpent. Do you know the only man on earth that I know who has always imbibed and adhered to these biblical injunctions is Dr. Lucky? That’s why I’m not surprised he is always lucky.”
Ebiwanno further stated that his misconceptions regarding the governor have been completely dispelled. He praised Ayedatiwa’s commitment to integrity and transparency, emphasizing:
“Without mincing words, the man Lucky is loaded with ideas and he has dispelled my misconception in its entirety. Another thing you can’t take away from our Governor is that he is puritanical in his devotion and eternally transparent in his dealings.”
He concluded his remarks with a heartfelt affirmation, saying, “I have seen the light and I will never go astray finally. I’m lucky to know and have Lucky as my Governor and our Governor.”
