A self-proclaimed Ghanaian prophet, Ebo Noah, whose prediction of a global catastrophe on December 25, 2025, failed to materialise, has asked his followers to relax, celebrate, and enjoy themselves, saying the prophesied disaster has been postponed.
Ebo Noah had earlier warned that a devastating flood would strike the world on Christmas Day, claiming the revelation was given to him by God. The prophecy sparked widespread attention across Ghana and parts of West Africa, as the prophet released multiple videos on social media urging people to repent and prepare for the end of the world.
In several online posts, the prophet—often seen wearing worn, old-fashioned robes—claimed God instructed him to construct arks that would shelter repentant believers from the impending flood. He said the message first came to him in a dream in 2023 and continued through subsequent years.
According to Ebo Noah, six arks had already been built, with thousands of pieces of wood reportedly acquired for the project. He insisted the structures would provide the only refuge once the disaster began.
However, when December 25 passed without incident, the prophet announced that the catastrophe had been delayed following intense prayers and intercession. In a video shared on Facebook, he said God had granted more time to build additional arks to accommodate more people.
He urged followers not to rush to any location, stressing that he was not collecting money or selling tickets. Instead, he encouraged them to stay at home, celebrate the festive season, repent, and enjoy themselves.
“No one should panic or travel anywhere. The end has been postponed because of prayers. Celebrate, have fun, and prepare yourselves,” he said.
In a surprising development, Ebo Noah later appeared on stage at the ‘Rapperholic 2025’ concert in Ghana, where he addressed the crowd in the local Twi language, reiterating that the disaster had been delayed and urging people to enjoy life.
His appearance and remarks reignited public debate online, with many social media users questioning his credibility and criticising the failed prophecy. Some commentators described him as a content creator, while others called on authorities to investigate his activities.
The incident has continued to generate mixed reactions, with supporters defending the prophet’s claims and critics accusing him of misleading the public.
