Nigeria’s Super Eagles are one step away from the AFCON 2025 semi-finals after taking a commanding 2-0 lead against Algeria in Marrakech. The Eagles, who scored 12 goals in four matches during the tournament’s earlier stages, are looking to maintain their impressive form against the Desert Foxes.
Algeria, unbeaten in the tournament and with the tightest defence, have conceded only once in four matches. Captain Riyad Mahrez leads their attack, supported by goalkeeper Luca Zidane, who has kept multiple clean sheets.
