The Renewed Hope Ambassadors (RHA), Oyo State Chapter, have announced plans to formally inaugurate newly appointed senatorial and Local Government Area (LGA) coordinators in a move aimed at boosting grassroots political mobilisation and strengthening engagement across the state ahead of major political activities. The announcement was contained in a statement made available on Friday in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, and signed by Senator Teslim Kolawole Folarin, the State Ambassador of the organisation.
According to the statement, the inauguration – scheduled for Monday, February 9, 2026 – will take place at the All Progressives Congress (APC) State Secretariat in Oke-Ado, Ibadan, and is expected to formally consolidate the RHA structure within the state in alignment with the broader objectives of both the APC and the Renewed Hope Agenda.
Senator Folarin described the event as a strategic milestone in deepening the organisation’s operational footprint at the grassroots level, noting that the coordinators will play a pivotal role in driving effective political outreach and strengthening communication between the party’s leadership and ordinary citizens within the state. “This inauguration would formally consolidate its structure in the state in line with the organisational objectives of the All Progressives Congress and the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Tinubu,” the statement said.
Folarin further emphasised that the newly appointed senatorial and LGA coordinators are expected to promote policy communication, enhance coordination, and work in synergy with existing party structures at various levels. He stressed that their roles will be instrumental in fostering unity, discipline, and purposeful mobilisation across communities throughout Oyo State.
The statement invited party members, key stakeholders, and invited guests to attend the Monday event, underlining that the inauguration signifies the formal commencement of duties for the coordinators. Those selected are expected to serve as vital links between the grassroots and the party apparatus, facilitating effective engagement and support for the APC’s agenda ahead of upcoming political contests.
As part of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors’ broader efforts in Oyo State, earlier interventions by Folarin have included calls for increased voter registration to boost political participation ahead of the 2027 general elections, highlighting the organisation’s focus on strengthening democratic processes and popular engagement across the region.
