Former Vice President and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential aspirant, Atiku Abubakar, on Friday visited former Kaduna State Governor and African Democratic Congress (ADC) figure, Nasir El-Rufai, following an unsuccessful attempt to detain him at the airport.
Atiku shared the visit on his Facebook page, saying El-Rufai remained composed and undeterred, continuing to pursue his vision for a stronger and better Nigeria.
“Last night, I visited Mallam Nasir El-Rufai after the failed attempt to arrest him at the airport.
He was unshaken and remains steadfast in the struggle to build a better Nigeria,” Atiku wrote.
The visit underscores solidarity among political leaders amid heightened tensions and disputes involving prominent national figures.
