Nigeria’s gospel music fraternity is in shock following the death of Taiwo Adegbodu, one half of the famed Adegbodu Twins.
The news was shared on Sunday by his twin brother and music partner, Kehinde Adegbodu, via social media, where he expressed his deep sorrow.
In a heartfelt message, Kehinde wrote: “TAIWO, why will you leave me and your kids without notice? My heart is bleeding. Lord, how am I supposed to cope without him? God, why? This is too much to bear!!!”
The duo were widely celebrated for their lively worship performances, seamless harmonies, and impactful ministry work, which drew large crowds at churches and Christian gatherings, particularly in Nigeria’s South-West region.
As at the time of this report, neither the cause of Taiwo’s death nor the funeral arrangements have been disclosed.
