ADC debunks reports of Senator Ireti Kingibe’s suspension

The African Democratic Congress has refuted reports claiming that the senator representing the Federal Capital Territory, Ireti Kingibe, has been suspended from the party.

The clarification was made in a statement issued by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi.

Abdullahi said the party had no knowledge of any disciplinary action taken against Kingibe, describing the reports making the rounds as inaccurate.

He stressed that the ADC, as a law-abiding political organisation, follows clearly defined constitutional procedures when dealing with allegations against its members.

According to him, such matters are usually addressed through the party’s internal channels rather than through public announcements.

The spokesman therefore called on the public and the media to ignore the claims that the FCT senator had been suspended by the party.

He maintained that the report did not originate from the party and should be regarded as misleading information.
