A United States-based business consultant and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Akoko, Oluwaseun Ajongbolo, has congratulated the newly elected executive members of the party in Ondo State.
Ajongbolo, in a statement issued to journalists on Thursday, commended the national leadership of the party, Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa and other stakeholders for ensuring a peaceful and orderly process that produced the new state executives.
He particularly lauded the emergence of Kolawole Babatunde as the State Chairman of the APC, describing his election as a positive development that would strengthen the party’s structure across the state.
According to Ajongbolo, the smooth conduct of the congress reflected the unity within the party and the growing support base of the APC in Ondo State.
He said, “I congratulate the newly elected State Executive Committee of our great party, the All Progressives Congress, on their successful emergence.”
Ajongbolo added that Babatunde’s election as state chairman showed the confidence reposed in him by party members to lead the party to greater progress in the state.
He also praised the leadership style of Governor Aiyedatiwa, noting that the governor had continued to promote unity, stability and inclusiveness within the party.
Ajongbolo further stated that the cooperation between the party’s national leadership, state stakeholders and the governor played a key role in ensuring the successful conduct of the congress.
