Iran has threatened to pursue and kill Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as tensions continue to escalate in the Middle East.
The warning came from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), which also claimed responsibility for missile and drone attacks targeting three United States military bases in the region.
According to the IRGC, the strikes were part of Iran’s broader strategy to confront what it described as threats from the United States and its regional allies.
Reports from Fars News Agency quoted the Iranian military force as issuing a direct message to Netanyahu, saying that if the Israeli leader is still alive, Iran would continue to pursue him and eliminate him “with full force.”
The attacks mark a significant escalation in Iran’s military actions and highlight rising tensions across the Middle East.
However, independent confirmation of the strikes has not yet been provided, and the IRGC did not disclose details about casualties or the level of damage caused at the targeted U.S. bases.
Iran has repeatedly criticised Israel’s military policies in the region, and the latest threat signals a further intensification of hostilities between the two sides.
The IRGC stated that such operations would continue, describing them as defensive actions against perceived aggression from its adversaries.
