Ondo North Elites Forum Endorse Hon. Kolawole Babatunde’s Rise to APC Ondo State Chairmanship

Ondo North Elites Forum, an association of elites from the Ondo North Senatorial District, has thrown its weight behind Hon. Kolawole Babatunde after his emergence as Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State, following the party’s state congress in Akure.

In a statement personally signed by the Forum’s President, Dr. Victor Oluwasina Ayeni, members hailed Babatunde’s selection as a testament to his political sagacity and grassroots reach. “Your preferment by the APC family in Ondo State to serve in this new role is in recognition of your political sagacity and democratic credentials as a leader with grassroots connectivity,” the statement read.

The Forum highlighted Babatunde’s lengthy public-service record — from his tenure in the House of Representatives to his recent role as Special Adviser to the Governor on Legislative and Political Matters — saying these credentials position him to deliver effectively in his new role. “Based on your track records of public service… we firmly believe in your capacity to deliver excellently in your new role,” the group added.

Positioning itself as a leading socio-political voice for the state’s Northern senatorial district, the Forum said it regards Babatunde as a foremost politician from the zone and has reposed full confidence in his leadership. The statement also praised his commitment, dedication and loyalty to the current state administration and the progressive family in Ondo.

As he assumes office, the Forum wished Babatunde divine guidance and wisdom. “We wish you God’s guidance, wisdom, and the peace of mind to function effectively,” the release concluded.
