Several Nigerian soldiers have reportedly lost their lives following a terrorist attack in the Girinmasa area of Yauri Local Government Area in Kebbi State.
A security analyst, Bakatsine, disclosed the incident in a post shared on X on Tuesday, stating that suspected Lakurawa fighters launched the assault on troops deployed in the area, resulting in fatalities among the soldiers.
“Today, Lakurawa terrorists killed several Nigerian soldiers in Girinmasa, Yauri LGA of Kebbi State. May Allah have mercy on the fallen heroes and bring to end this insecurity ravaging Nigeria,” Bakatsine wrote.
Military authorities had yet to issue an official statement on the attack as of the time of filing this report.
