President Tinubu Announces Low-Key Plans for 74th Birthday

Bola Ahmed Tinubu has said he will mark his 74th birthday in a low-key manner, citing the current mood of the nation.

In a message released on Sunday, the president noted that his decision aligns with his tradition of observing birthdays in a way that reflects national circumstances.

He expressed appreciation to Nigerians for their prayers and goodwill, thanking citizens for their support and solidarity with his administration.

Tinubu also acknowledged individuals and organisations that placed birthday messages in the media, as well as those who sent personal greetings.

He extended special gratitude to his wife, Oluremi Tinubu, and Vice President Kashim Shettima for their kind words.

Reflecting on his administration, the president said that although the government has faced challenges since the introduction of its reforms, there are signs of progress.

He expressed optimism about the future, stating that his administration remains committed to building a better Nigeria and addressing existing challenges.

Tinubu added that the achievements recorded so far were the result of collective effort, assuring Nigerians that the government would continue to work towards overcoming current difficulties.
