Iran has rejected a ceasefire proposal put forward by the United States amid ongoing hostilities involving Israel, according to reports from state media on Monday.
The Iranian News Agency (IRNA) disclosed that Tehran communicated its position through Pakistan, declining the American-backed offer aimed at halting the conflict.
Although details of the proposal were not made public, the report indicated that Iran’s response was outlined in a 10-point document.
According to the agency, Iran firmly rejected the ceasefire option, maintaining that only a comprehensive resolution leading to a definitive end to the conflict would be acceptable.
