Youth leaders and stakeholders from Ondo East and West have celebrated the emergence of Daramola Adesuyi as the South-West Zonal Youth Leader of the All Progressives Congress, describing his appointment as a major boost for youth representation in the region.
The event, held in Ondo City, attracted political youth leaders, influencers, and stakeholders from various communities, who gathered to honour Adesuyi in what was described as a colourful homecoming celebration.
In his remarks, Adesuyi expressed gratitude to Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for his support and pledged to lead with honesty and transparency. He urged young people to see his emergence as a collective victory and called for their continued support to ensure a successful tenure.
Stakeholders at the event praised Adesuyi for his previous contributions to youth development and expressed confidence in his ability to deliver in his new role. They also reaffirmed their support for the Ondo State government and pledged to mobilise for the re-election of Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027.
The gathering featured several notable figures, including party youth leaders, local government representatives, and community stakeholders, all of whom emphasised unity and commitment to the growth of the party and youth empowerment in the region.
