According to maritime tracking platform MarineTraffic, the Greek-owned bulk carrier NJ Earth crossed the strait at approximately 08:44 UTC on Wednesday. Earlier, the Liberia-flagged vessel Daytona Beach had transited the waterway at about 06:59 UTC after departing Bandar Abbas around 05:28 UTC.
