The Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, has declared that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu remains politically ahead of opposition figures ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Keyamo made the statement via his verified X account, highlighting Tinubu’s long-standing experience in opposition politics and his journey to becoming president.
According to him, many of the strategies currently being used by opposition parties were originally shaped by Tinubu himself, giving the President a significant advantage.
“You cannot beat the master at his own game,” Keyamo said, adding that Tinubu is “100 steps ahead” of his political rivals.
The remarks come amid increasing political manoeuvring and alignments as parties begin positioning for the 2027 elections.
