A former Publicity Secretary of the African Democratic Congress in Kano State, Saidu Bello Said, has forecast a decisive loss for President Bola Tinubu and the ruling All Progressives Congress in the next general election, claiming the outcome would be clear within hours of voting.
Speaking in an interview with Daily Post, Said attributed his prediction to what he described as growing public frustration with the current administration, noting that many Nigerians were prepared to express their dissatisfaction through the ballot.
He asserted that the electorate had become more politically conscious and would act accordingly on election day, adding that the ruling party could face an early setback before mid-morning.
The former spokesman also criticised the state of governance, alleging that democratic values were being undermined, a situation he said had deepened public discontent.
Addressing developments within the ADC in Kano, including recent political shifts, Said said the party was reorganising and positioning itself to mount a stronger challenge ahead of the 2027 elections.
He expressed confidence that internal restructuring efforts would enhance the party’s chances at the polls.
On economic matters, he faulted recent policies, particularly the rise in fuel prices, questioning the justification for the increase amid changing global oil conditions.
Said urged Nigerians to see the 2027 elections as a critical opportunity to chart a new course, calling on voters to make informed choices at the polls.
