Bola Ahmed Tinubu has signed the ₦68.32 trillion 2026 appropriation bill into law.
The announcement was made on Friday by Bayo Onanuga, the president’s special adviser on information and strategy.
According to the statement, the president also approved an extension of the 2025 budget implementation timeline, shifting the deadline from March 31 to June 30, 2026.
The extension is expected to allow for the completion of ongoing projects and improve overall budget execution.
