Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma, has unveiled key political figures, including Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani, former Peoples Democratic Party spokesman, Olisa Metuh, and lawmaker James Faleke, as part of the leadership of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, a group established to drive support for President Bola Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Uzodinma, who serves as the Director-General and National Coordinator of the group, disclosed this in a statement issued on Friday.
He said the appointments were aimed at strengthening the operational structure of the organisation nationwide as it prepares for grassroots mobilisation.
According to the statement, the Renewed Hope Ambassadors was inaugurated in November 2025 to promote the policies and achievements of the Tinubu administration under its Renewed Hope Agenda.
Under the structure, Uba Sani was named Deputy Director-General, while Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, was appointed Secretary. Faleke was designated as Deputy Secretary.
The organisation is also structured with six zonal coordinators, 37 state coordinators and 774 local government coordinators across the country.
Uzodinma further announced the appointment of 16 directors to oversee various departments within the group.
Metuh was named Director of Organisation and Mobilisation, while Tunde Rahman will head Media and Publicity. Former Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Sunday Dare, was appointed Director of Digital and New Media, and Mele Kolo Geidam will oversee Finance.
Other appointments include Muiz Banire (SAN) as Director of Monitoring, Compliance and Legal; Bisoye Coker-Odusote as Director of Technology and Data; and Abubakar Rabiu Abubakar as Director of Support Groups.
Also listed are Ibrahim Garba (Intelligence), Senator Sani Musa (Special Duties), Simon Karu (Planning), Halima Suleiman Zakari (Welfare), Nnamdi Maurice Mbaeri (Administration), Bilikisu Muhammed Kaika (Women Affairs), Abike Dabiri (Diaspora), and Hadiza Bala Usman (Research and Innovation).
Uzodinma said the appointments formalised the internal framework of the group as it positions itself to play a key role in mobilising support for the President’s potential re-election bid.
