From Ondo Govt to National Assembly: Ewatomilola Gets Akpabio Appointment

The President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio, has appointed Ewatomilola Emiola Owoeye as a Senior Legislative Aide.

Ewatomilola, a former Senior Special Assistant on Research and Documentation to Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, assumed her new role at the National Assembly last week.

Reacting to the appointment, she described it as a call to greater responsibility and an opportunity to contribute to national development.

“This appointment is not just a personal achievement but an opportunity to serve and impact lives positively,” she said.

She also pledged to leverage her experience in governance, research, and administration to support policies that promote good governance and inclusive growth across Nigeria.

Before her appointment, Ewatomilola played a key role in policy development and administrative processes under the Ondo State government.

She expressed gratitude to Governor Aiyedatiwa for the opportunity to serve in his administration and for the experience that prepared her for national service.
