Key stakeholders of the Peoples Democratic Party, including Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde and his Bauchi State counterpart, Bala Mohammed, are currently in a closed-door meeting in Abuja following the Supreme Court judgment on the party’s leadership crisis.
The meeting, taking place at Bauchi House in Asokoro, is still ongoing as of the time of filing this report.
Those in attendance include members of the party’s Board of Trustees, National Executive Committee, National Assembly caucus, National Caucus, state chairmen and other key officials.
The development comes shortly after the PDP Board of Trustees, led by its Chairman, Senator Adolphus Wabara, announced its decision to assume control of the party’s affairs pending the establishment of a caretaker committee.
