Ondo State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Dr Olukayode Ajulo, SAN, OON, has extended heartfelt praise to the workers in his office and the State Ministry of Justice, describing their dedication, resilience, and behind-the-scenes sacrifices as the true force behind the State’s justice reforms.
In his special Workers’ Day message, Dr Ajulo said the ministry’s staff are the real backbone of Ondo’s justice system, filling the role of the “unseen hands” that keep the machinery of justice running smoothly while promoting peace and fairness for the people.
“With your collective commitment and unbreakable resilience, the Ministry of Justice has not only regained its pride of place, but now stands as the Numero Uno Ministry in Ondo State,” he stated.
Dr Ajulo credited the achievements recorded during his tenure to the hard work, loyalty, and professionalism of the ministry’s support staff.
“Whenever applause comes to me, I often pause to ask when it truly should be directed. In my heart, I know the truth: every success, every milestone, and every achievement belongs first and foremost to you, the real heroes behind the scenes. You are not just workers; you are the Voltron of this State,” he added.
He also expressed gratitude to Governor Dr Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, noting that the governor, who he described as having once been a worker, teacher, marketer, and a leader of successful companies before entering politics, has shown trust in the ministry and provided consistent and premium attention to the welfare of the workers.
However, Dr Ajulo emphasised that the day’s true stars are the workers themselves, urging them to “stand up and take a bow” as they receive their well-deserved flowers.
Dr Ajulo further commended the leadership of labour unions in the state for their maturity, patriotism, and efforts in sustaining industrial harmony between workers and the Aiyedatiwa administration.
