Bola Oyebamiji, the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, has assured residents that he will not betray their trust if elected.
Speaking during an engagement with members of the Nigerian Society of Professional Tailors in Osogbo, Oyebamiji, represented by Olatunbosun Oyintiloye, said his administration would implement a seven-point agenda aimed at driving development in the state.
He explained that the plan focuses on key areas such as poverty reduction, job creation, workers’ welfare, security, education, transparency, and infrastructure development.
Oyebamiji also pledged support for artisans and small businesses, noting their vital role in the state’s economy. He said his policies would include programmes to strengthen small and medium-scale enterprises.
The APC candidate urged voters to support his ambition, expressing confidence that his plans would reposition the state. He also dismissed criticisms from opposition parties, stating that his agenda has unsettled political rivals.
In response, the chairman of the tailors’ association, Rasheed Balogun, commended Oyebamiji’s vision and pledged the support of the group.
