The political race for the Akoko North-East/North-West Federal Constituency seat has gathered momentum as Oyeniyi Oseni officially submitted his nomination and expression of interest forms under the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Oseni’s submission marks a significant step in his bid to represent the constituency in the House of Representatives ahead of the 2027 general elections.
His supporters described the move as a strong indication of readiness to serve, noting that his aspiration continues to gain traction across Akoko North-East and North-West.
According to party supporters, Oseni has consistently maintained close ties with grassroots stakeholders, emphasizing community development, accessibility, and youth empowerment.
They added that the formal submission of his forms goes beyond procedure, describing it as a declaration of intent to provide stronger representation at the national level.
Party loyalists and community groups have also been urged to rally support behind his ambition, with calls for unity ahead of the APC primaries.
Oseni’s camp says his campaign will focus on grassroots engagement, inclusive leadership, and improving development opportunities across the constituency.
