OSOPADEC chairman injured during APC Reps primary activities in Ondo

The Chairman of the Ondo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, Biyi Poroye, reportedly sustained injuries after falling during activities linked to the All Progressives Congress House of Representatives primaries in Ondo State.

The incident was said to have occurred in his hometown on Saturday amid the ongoing APC primary election activities across the state.

Although details surrounding the development remained unclear as of the time of filing this report, sources within the party disclosed that the APC chieftain was immediately attended to after the fall.

The severity of the injuries sustained by Poroye had yet to be officially confirmed, while no formal statement had been issued by OSOPADEC or the APC regarding his condition.

Party supporters and associates were, however, said to have expressed concern following the incident during the tense primary exercise.
