Pastor Taiwo Ilesanmi Gbamila, Senior Special Assistant on Multimedia to Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has resigned from his position, further fueling concerns over reported instability within the governor’s media team.
Gbamila’s resignation was conveyed in a letter addressed to the governor and copied to the Office of the Secretary to the Ondo State Government on Monday. In the brief correspondence, he expressed appreciation for the opportunity to serve.
“I hereby respectfully tender my resignation from my appointment,” the letter stated.
The development comes amid growing reports of dissatisfaction among members of the governor’s media unit, with indications that additional aides may also step down. Recent accounts have suggested a potential wave of resignations within the team.
Gbamila’s exit adds to the unfolding situation, which observers say may intensify scrutiny of the administration’s internal operations and communication structure.
As of the time of filing this report, there has been no official response from the Ondo State Government regarding the resignation.
