Almost 10 armed assailants have reportedly killed the Alagamo of Agamo community, Oba Kehinde Falodun, in a brutal attack on his palace located in Akure North Local Government Area of Ondo State.
According to online reports, a family source revealed that the attackers stormed the monarch’s palace on Wednesday evening with the primary intention of abducting him, but the attempt was allegedly resisted by the traditional ruler.
The source disclosed that the gunmen initially opened fire on Oba Falodun multiple times; however, the bullets reportedly failed to penetrate his body.
Undeterred, the assailants resorted to blunt weapon, delivering fatal blows to the monarch’s head, which ultimately claimed his life.
The deceased’s wife, who witnessed the harrowing incident, confirmed the development to family members.
