Trump Backs Republican Victory in 2028 US Presidential Election

The President of the United States, Donald Trump, has expressed confidence that the Republican Party will emerge victorious in the country’s 2028 presidential election.

Trump made the projection during a telephone interview on The Five, a programme aired on Fox News, where he spoke on the future of American politics.

According to him, it would be inappropriate for the Democratic Party to reclaim power in the next electoral cycle, insisting that Republicans are well-positioned to retain leadership.

“I believe it will be a Republican, and a strong candidate at that,” Trump said, expressing optimism about the party’s prospects.

He further noted that the Republican Party boasts a pool of capable individuals, adding that a strategic combination of candidates would make the party difficult to defeat at the polls.

The next presidential election in the United States is scheduled for November 2028.

Trump, who is currently serving a second term in office, is ineligible to contest again due to constitutional term limits.
