Factional national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (Peoples Democratic Party), Tanimu Turaki, has assured members and supporters that the party will be fully prepared and present on the ballot in the 2027 general elections.
Turaki gave the assurance in Abuja during his opening remarks at the 103rd National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting of his faction of the party. He stated that despite ongoing internal leadership challenges, efforts are being made to stabilize the party and keep it viable for all aspirants.
He emphasized that the leadership is working continuously to ensure the PDP remains a strong platform for members seeking elective positions in 2027 and beyond.
According to him, the party is committed to resolving its internal issues while maintaining its relevance in Nigeria’s political landscape ahead of the next general elections.
