The Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Ola Olukoyede, has expressed optimism that Nigeria will defeat corruption, urging citizens to remain hopeful and committed to the anti-graft fight.
In his Easter message delivered in Abuja, Olukoyede stated that corruption does not define Nigeria and cannot overcome the nation’s collective will.
He emphasized that the message of Easter symbolizes victory over trials, including corruption and societal challenges, noting that such lessons are crucial for national progress.
According to him, Nigerians must continue to support the EFCC’s efforts by maintaining trust in the agency’s ongoing fight against economic and financial crimes.
“We are not defined by corruption; we cannot be defeated by it,” he said, urging citizens to stay resilient and keep faith in the country’s future.
The EFCC boss reaffirmed the commission’s commitment to tackling corruption and ensuring accountability across all sectors.
