Former Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami (SAN), has described the African Democratic Congress as a strong political platform capable of unseating the ruling All Progressives Congress across all levels of government.
Malami made the assertion in a statement issued by his media aide, Bello Doka, while appreciating supporters who turned out in large numbers to welcome him back to Kebbi State.
The former minister, who recently returned to the state, said the ADC represents a viable coalition determined to reposition Nigeria through democratic means.
He maintained that he remains committed to pursuing political change in Kebbi State, expressing confidence in the support base he enjoys among party members and residents.
According to him, his return to the state reflects a renewed resolve to participate actively in efforts aimed at improving governance through the ballot.
Malami also reaffirmed his loyalty to the leadership and members of the ADC in Kebbi, noting that the party provides the structure needed to achieve his political ambitions in the state.
He said, “Our return is a clear indication of our determination to pursue truth and contribute to the rescue of our state and the country. The ADC offers a credible platform to achieve this objective.”
The former AGF further stated that the push for good governance requires courage and consistency, adding that Nigerians must remain hopeful about the country’s future.
He expressed optimism that with sustained support from the people, the party would be able to challenge the dominance of the APC in forthcoming elections.
Malami also appreciated political associates, community groups, and supporters for their encouragement, describing their backing as a motivation to remain steadfast in his political journey.
