Former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, has stated that he possesses the experience and capacity to solve Nigeria’s challenges ahead of the 2027 elections.
Speaking during a television interview, Amaechi said his record in governance and infrastructure development distinguishes him from other contenders.
He also criticised the administration of Bola Tinubu, citing worsening economic conditions and hardship among citizens.
Amaechi further alleged efforts to weaken opposition parties and called for stronger institutional independence, particularly for electoral and judicial bodies.
He is among several prominent political figures positioning for the 2027 presidential race, as political activities begin to intensify across the country.
