A governorship aspirant for the All Progressives Congress in Ilaje Constituency 1, Ilawole Taiwo Samuel, has officially withdrawn from the race and endorsed Oris Igbayesemore following the party’s consensus arrangement.
Taiwo said he decided to respect the directive of the Ondo State governor and party leadership after consulting with his supporters and stakeholders.
He described the move as a step toward party unity, peace, and electoral victory, pledging to mobilize his supporters and political structure for the success of APC in Ilaje Constituency 1.
Taiwo also congratulated Igbayesemore on emerging as the sole candidate and expressed hope that he would deliver development and empowerment to the people of the constituency.
