Former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, on Wednesday appeared before the Federal High Court in Kaduna to face fresh charges filed by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission.
The anti-graft agency arraigned the former governor over allegations bordering on financial misconduct and unlawful conversion of public assets.
El-Rufai’s court appearance follows recent legal action by the ICPC, which filed an amended nine-count charge against him as part of its ongoing investigation.
It was gathered that the former governor had been in the custody of the commission prior to his arraignment.
