Atiku Set To Present ADC Presidential Nomination Forms Monday

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar is set to formally present his African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential nomination forms on Monday, May 11, 2026, at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja.

The ADC confirmed that Atiku has already paid the N90 million nomination fee and received his official receipt ahead of the 2027 presidential election.

In a statement, the party described the development as a major step in its push for “national renewal, democratic inclusion, and people-driven leadership.”

Atiku, who left the PDP for the ADC in late 2025, is expected to play a central role in the opposition’s strategy against President Bola Tinubu and the APC ahead of the 2027 elections.

The party added that the movement for a “New Nigeria” is gaining momentum as more Nigerians seek alternative leadership options.
