Bola Oyebamiji, the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Osun State, has expressed confidence that voters in the state will elect him governor in the forthcoming election.
Speaking in Osogbo during a meeting with members of the Association of Mobile Telecommunication Engineers of Nigeria, Oyebamiji said the electorate would support both him and the APC at the polls.
Represented by Olatunbosun Oyintiloye, the APC candidate said the party was prepared to defeat incumbent governor Ademola Adeleke in the election scheduled for August 15.
According to him, his administration would focus on economic growth, healthcare, education, infrastructure, and social welfare if elected into office. He added that his “PROSPER” agenda would prioritise job creation, support for businesses, and improved living standards across the state.
Oyebamiji also pledged support for the telecommunications sector, describing it as critical to economic development and business growth.
Meanwhile, Abdulrasaki Ejalonibu assured the APC candidate of the support of AMTEN members during the election.
