A sudden political tremor has rocked the Idanre/Ifedore Federal House of Representatives APC primaries as Tajudeen Adefisoye (widely regarded as the consensus choice of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa and an aspirant in the ongoing process) has allegedly been disqualified, with the reasons still unclear as of the time of filing.
In a statement released to the public, the media team of Engr. Razaq Obe—an aspirant whose emergence had earlier sparked viral claims that he stepped down in deference to party supremacy, including the governor’s preferred arrangement —announced that he has now been officially positioned as the party’s standard-bearer.
“We are pleased to inform all APC members and supporters that Engr. Razaq Obe has just been officially announced as the party’s candidate for the Idanre/Ifedore Federal House of Representatives Constituency following the disqualification of Hon. Tajudeen Adefisoye (A.K.A Small Alhaji).”
