US Senator Applauds Tinubu as Sunday Jackson regains freedom after a decade on death row

Sunday Jackson has been released after spending over ten years in prison and on death row for defending himself against an Islamic terrorist.

This significant development was announced by United States lawmaker Riley Moore, who shared the news on his verified Twitter account a short time ago.

Moore expressed gratitude to President Bola Tinubu for his willingness to collaborate with the United States on security matters, enhancing stability in the country, and safeguarding Christians.

“I appreciate President Tinubu’s willingness to work with the United States on addressing security, greater stability in the country, and protecting our brothers and sisters in Christ,” the U.S. lawmaker wrote.

Jackson’s release follows years of incarceration and a lengthy stay on death row stemming from the incident in which he reportedly acted in self-defense.
