Tinubu Approves 600-Capacity Hostels for Abuja Law School

President Bola Tinubu has authorized the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Nyesom Wike, to commence the construction of two hostels, each with a capacity of 300, for the Nigerian Law School in Abuja.

Additionally, Tinubu has ordered the construction of a road connecting the Body of Benchers Secretariat in Jabi District to Nile University.

According to Wike’s Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media, Lere Olayinka, these projects will be executed under emergency provisions. Olayinka did not disclose the costs associated with the hostels, noting that one will accommodate 300 female students while the other will house 300 male students.

He further explained that the new road linking the Body of Benchers Secretariat to Nile University will, upon completion, alleviate traffic congestion on the route leading to the head office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
