The Minister of Information, Mohammed Idris, has thrown his support behind the ongoing “Write-A-Thon” initiative led by Shuaibu Ishaq, aimed at showcasing President Bola Tinubu’s leadership accomplishments.
The project, announced on Monday in Abuja, is a Guinness World Record attempt to compile a comprehensive account of President Tinubu’s achievements. It features a 72-hour continuous political commentary titled “The Last Card: Why It Must Be Tinubu (Again).”
Minister Idris praised Ishaq for documenting the President’s leadership milestones amid opposition-driven misinformation and propaganda. He also reaffirmed the administration’s commitment to economic reforms and commended Ishaq for his courage in presenting these achievements in book form.
Speaking on the endorsement, Ishaq expressed gratitude to the minister and promised to diligently highlight the President’s leadership strides. He emphasized his patriotism and called on Nigerians to support and appreciate the policies of the current government.
The announcement comes just two weeks after Chef Hilda Baci set a new Guinness World Record for the largest serving of Nigerian-style jollof rice, weighing 8,780 kilograms (19,356 lb 9 oz). The feat, achieved in partnership with Gino on September 12 in Victoria Island, Lagos, has been officially confirmed.
