Recently, the social media has been overwhelmed with the shocking news of the clash between Vincent Otse, aka Verydarkman (VDM), and comedian Freedom Atsepoyi, aka Mr Jollof. The two have been embroiled in a long-term rivalry battle —an inspiration for the viral video circulating, with both VDM and Mr Jollof seen exchanging hot blows while on board a plane owned by United Nigeria Airlines. The plane was flying from Asaba to Lagos on Sunday when the clash erupted.
The two started arguing inside the cabin and the situation quickly escalated into a physical fight at the full glare of shocked passengers after VDM left his seat to confront Mr Jollof.
The fight was very tough which led Mr. Jollof to bite VDM while trying to get away from VDM muscular grip.
The flight crew later intervened and the aircraft, which was already airborne, had to return to Asaba where both men were deboarded by airport authorities.
The cause of the fight is rooted in the long-term enmity between the two, following a series of online clashes and abusive exchanges.
Accordingly, Mr. Ossai Success, Senior Special Assistant on Media to Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, the two rivals have been arrested for causing public unrest.
His words, “I saw VeryDarkMan collecting beats from Mr Jollof this morning at the Asaba International Airport. They have been deboarded and arrested. I am really disappointed in both of them for fighting inside an aircraft when they should have done that on the roadside. VDM nor get mind and e get talk carelessly. I am really disappointed.
