“Wike is after my life” – Sowore alleges in fresh media parley, hinges threat to shocking criminal revelations

Human rights activist and African Action Congress (AAC) presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore, has alleged that his life is under serious threat from the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, following his recent “criminal” comment about President Bola Tinubu.

Sowore, an activist with a long history of exposing alleged secrets and controversial dealings of powerful politicians, including Wike, said the threats appear linked not only to his recent comments about Tinubu but also to his past revelations about the FCT minister.

“My life is under serious threat from Nyesom Wike because I spoke the truth about Bola Tinubu and because of the information I’ve previously released exposing corruption and abuse of office,” Sowore stated.

The activist is known for using platforms like Sahara Reporters and his personal media channels to release documents, recordings, and investigative findings that allege misconduct by public officials.

According to Sowore, Wike has repeatedly attempted to intimidate him after these shocking revelations.

He however called on security agencies to investigate the threats and warned that any harm that comes to him would be the direct responsibility of the FCT minister.

Political analysts say this latest clash underscores the growing tensions between outspoken opposition figures and Nigeria’s political elite, particularly those targeted by investigative disclosures.

As of press time, Wike has not responded to the allegations.
